Why we started Baseball Bridge International

The inspiration behind Baseball Bridge International began with our 8-year-old son, Francesco Ramirez.

One day, after coming home from school, he told us that some of his friends couldn’t join local baseball programs not because they didn’t love the game, but because their families simply couldn’t afford it.

That moment changed everything.

Francesco was lucky. Our family found a way to support his baseball journey, from local leagues to seasonal camps. But we realized that not every child gets that chance and that no child should be left behind simply because of financial barriers.

So, we decided to do something about it.

We created Baseball Bridge International to give back to our community, one kid and one family at a time. Our mission is to provide free or low-cost youth baseball experiences that build skills, confidence, and community support, especially for families who need it most.

We believe that baseball is more than a sport. It teaches teamwork, discipline, leadership, and joy. And every child deserves access to that, regardless of income or background.

This nonprofit is our way of making sure that every child who dreams of stepping onto a field has a bridge to get there starting in our own community and growing from there.
